2011/2012 LUNCH PROGRAM POLICIES
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY & IN IT’S ENTIRETY
Account Balance:
· You, the parent/guardian are responsible for maintaining a positive account balance in the student’s lunch account at all times.
· We have gone PAPERLESS, all accounts must be opened, replenished & maintained by going to
www.myschoolaccount.com - Please see following section on myschoolaccount.com for instructions. Lunch accounts can also be opened & replenished by paying cash at the register.
· If a lunch account is NOT desired, student’s can pay CASH daily at the register.
We are NOT ACCEPTING CHECKS @ the register, only electronically through myschoolaccount.com.
· If your student does pay cash daily, they WILL NOT have an account set-up and can only buy what they bring enough money for on that day.
Account Set-up & www.myschoolaccount.com:
· Brand new accounts must be set-up using the student’s SCHOOL ID number.
· After a new account is opened, the student must get their fingerprint scanned and entered in our system. We only store a biometric image of their fingerprint, the actual fingerprint is deleted immediately. This is a 2 minute process and can be done during the first week of half school days.
This process can also be done any day during lunch. We can also pull up your student’s account at the register by using their name if they do not get scanned before school starts.
· Please be advised that myschoolaccount.com is a third party vendor and payments may take up to 48 hours to post on your student’s account. IF THERE ARE NOT SUFFICIENT FUNDS IN YOUR STUDENT’S LUNCH ACCOUNT WE REGRETTABLY WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SERVE THEM. There is also a small fee charged by this vendor to make online check and/or credit card payments.
· We will also accept cash at the register, DAILY just to buy lunch, OR, to replenish lunch accounts.
· Student account activity can be viewed up to a 30 day history. Spending can be tracked as well as seeing exactly what your student is eating. MORE IMPORTANTLY, account balances can be checked with a couple clicks of the mouse!!! PLEASE KEEP BALANCES POSITIVE! We are not making ANY exceptions this year with NEGATIVE / insufficient account balances.
· Online payments take up to 48 hours to post. If you have to make a payment the night before your child eats, the online payment will not be posted to the account for that following day. HOWEVER, you can print out a payment receipt from myschoolaccount.com and send your student in with that payment receipt and we will be able to serve them lunch.
· Please be advised that we also offer a la carte items for sale (please see under: menus) as well as seconds if your student is still hungry. If you do not wish your student account holder to purchase ANY extras, please advise L’ecole in writing & we will serve your student ONLY a hot lunch daily.

· Opening of a lunch account with L’ecole Dining Service constitutes agreement and full cooperation with these policies.
